The Science Tokyo-Komatsu Industry-Academia Collaborative Research Meeting was held on August 19, 2026, at the Yokohama Campus.

Following opening remarks by Director Furukawa of Science Tokyo and CTO Kusaba of Komatsu, presentations were given on the progress and outcomes of various research projects, followed by lively discussions and exchanges of ideas.

During the meeting, President Ohtake also joined us and gave a few words to the participants.

Following the presentations, a poster session provided an opportunity for participants to engage in in-depth discussions on each research topic and gain a deeper understanding of the research activities.

The meeting was a valuable opportunity to share the progress and result of our collaborative research and to discuss future directions for our research activities.

The next meeting is scheduled to be held next spring.
