Dr. Kawakita of Komatsu, who was stationed at Komatsu Collaborative Research Cluster as a joint researcher and obtained his doctorate during that time, has been selected to receive 2024 Award for Young Tribogists from Japan Society of Tribologists.

The subject research is “Measurement of Oil Film Thickness Distribution between Slipper and Swash Plate in Swash Plate Axial Piston Pumps” conducted at Komatsu Collaborative Research Cluster.

The award ceremony will be held on May 27 during the general meeting of the Japanese Society of Tribologists.
