The results of joint research conducted between Science Tokyo and Komatsu will be implemented in Komatsu products. In recognition of their contributions and achievements, Komatsu presented the Industry-Academia Collaboration Implementation Award to the following individuals involved in the joint research.

Science Tokyo : Professor Yoshihiro Mizutani, Associate Professor Saiko Aoki, Specially Appointed Associate Professor Shinji Tanaka

Komatsu: Dr. Yukio Tamura, Mr. Keiji Matsumoto, and Mr. Kentaro Yamada

The research results will be used in Komatsu large bulldozers and will contribute to improving the service life of key components.

Mr. Shinohara, Vice President of Komatsu Development Division, presented the award certificate and supplementary prize at the Industry-Academia Collaboration Meeting held on February 17.
