Professor Naoto Ohtake, Head of Komatsu Collaborative Research Cluster for Innovative Technologies, received "Tokyo Institute of Technology - Komatsu Industry-Academia Collaboration Contribution Award".

The award recognizes his efforts over many years to promote industry-academia collaboration with Komatsu, including the conclusion of an organizational collaboration agreement with Komatsu, the establishment of Collaborative Research Programs and the implementation of joint research, and his leadership as the head of Komatsu Collaborative Research Cluster, as well as his efforts to promote research and social application of research results.

The award was presented by Mr. Taisuke Kusaba, CTO of Komatsu Ltd. at the 19th Tokyo Tech Komatsu Industry-Academia Collaboration Meeting held on August 5, 2024.
