Saito Lab

Our research vision is "Aiming to achieve a carbon-neutral society, we strive to advance the utilization of multi-materials from a thermal engineering perspective and promote their application to heat transfer devices." Based on the knowledge of heat transfer, we aim to contribute to the improvement of energy utilization and elucidation of transport phenomena, thereby enhancing the efficiency and thermal management in the electrification of construction machinery.


Development of Thermal Design Technology for Electrification of Machinery

  • Focusing on the heat generation problem specific to construction machinery, we are working on developing thermal design technology that achieves excellent heat dissipation.

Analysis of Transport Phenomena including Interface

  • Through experiments and simulations, we aim to clarify the factors that affect the heat passing through the interface.

Development of Heat Transfer Control Technology using Nanomaterials

  • We are investigating the effect of heat treatment on the wettability of the copper nanoparticle layer surface on the phase change phenomenon.
